Cirkus Tværs, led by Trille Lucassen, is a “social circus” in Denmark that uses circus as a tool to help children and young people to have a better understanding about life. It is located in Gellerup, in the city of Århus, where there is a lot of different ethnicity and cultures. Most of the children at Cirkus Tværs are second generation immigrants with parents who are refugees.
